EmpowHER Monthly: Giving Back

Christmas and the holidays are not about receiving: they are about giving. Giving our presence. Giving our kindness. Giving our time. Giving our love.

At our last meeting, we announced the family and child EmpowHERment is sponsoring for the 2018 holidays. One-year old Noah has had it rough in his short amount of time on Earth, and we are committed to making sure he is showered in our love and generosity for Christmas.

Join us at Gina’s home in Safety Harbor to wrap Noah’s gifts, write his card from all of us, and bake cookies! We’ll have some snacks and refreshments, but feel free to bring anything you’d like to eat or drink! After we’re done wrapping, we’ll take a trip together to Noah’s home to deliver his gifts.

If you’d like to sign up to purchase one of Noah’s gifts or provide a gift card donation to help with gift purchases, you can do so by clicking below!

Clearwater Beach Cleanup

Part of our mission at EmpowHERment is to give back to our community, both locally and globally. Our environment depends on our active participation in helping keep it clean of our waste. Every year, anywhere from 5 to 13 million metric tons of plastic winds up in our oceans. Our impact might be tiny, but it is huge to our local community.

Meet us at Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach to pick up trash along the beach! Please bring sunscreen, a hat, a reusable water bottle, and wear closed toe-shoes. Gloves, bags, ice water, and snacks will be provided.

We will have a beach day afterwards, so those who can come, bring your beach stuff. To those who can't attend the clean up, but can meet up afterwards, come on out!
